Okay, I've laid out some preliminary plans based upon EASYWDW Sept. Calendar.

DH and I are staying at the Beach Club--celebraitn our 25 anniversary. We'll be in Orlando a day or so before our WDW vacation starts, staying off site doing other Orlando things. I'd love any advice/comments you'd care to give.

Our goal is to be more laid back. Focus isn't doing every ride, but more just our favorites, a lot of time in pool & sunshine, and having new experiences.

Particular concerns of mine with my current plans are the late night on arrival and rope drop next morning. Raglan Road being too crowded on Fri night, Water Park too busy on Sat.

SAT 9.6 Arrive, BC Check-in, off to AK (figure arrive around 11pm or so), JIKO dinner, bus from AKL to MK for MSEP (9) WISHES (10)

SUN 9.7 HS rope drop, leave around lunch for hotel POOL, Beaches & Cream dinner, Fantasmic that night

MON 9.7 MK til mid afternoon, short relaxation at hotel before dinner. Flying Fish Chef's Table, boardwalk entertainment, hot tub

TUES 9.8 HS rope drop, POOL in afternoon, Yachtman Steakhouse dinner, Jelly Rolls

WED 9.9 sleep in Dine with Imagineer lunch, EPCOT afternoon, Tangierine Cafe dinner, Illumination

THURS 9.10 EP rope drop, POOL afternoon, late dinner at Cali Grill (hoping to be able to see Wishes from restaurant)

FRI 9.11 MK Marceline to MK Tour (8am-11), CS lunch, leave mid afternoon, Raglan Road dinner, DTD night time entertainment

SAT 9.12 Captain Grille's breakfast (8:30) Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, perhaps that night walk to EP WS for a drink and last view of Illuminations

SUN 9.13 Departure... will probably check out and start drive home. Possibly, rope drop HS and ride TOT RnR, TSM for 2 hours before leaving

We're going on those same dates! And our plan actually looks the same regarding which days we are visiting the parks. I'm hoping it won't be too busy on Labor Day!

Same here on hoping for low crowd levels! Where are you staying? I'm curious how you are planning your days. Are you doing rope drops, and then afternoon break (and if so, what time do you generally leave the park?) I would love to know what strategies you are using :)

You seem to plan trips w about the same mix of park time and hotel time as we do. I think it looks really good. Is it just you guys or are there kids involved? Based on the restaurant choices, it seems more of an adult-only trip... if that's the case, I think you've picked many of the places we would pick if it were just us w/o the kids.

What is rope drops? We'll be staying at the beach club starting on the 4th. Then the cruise on the 7th.

Yes, it will be just DH and I... good to know that you'd pick the same restaurants :) We really enjoy food, so good meals are definitely a big part of any vacation we go on!
