I don't know if this an okay spot to post this, but I would love some advice on my itinerary. I will be travelling with a 16 year old and a 22 year old, so no small children! I'm willing to change just about anything, so critique away :)

Sunday August 26: Islands of Adventure Day

Monday August 27: Check out and have bags held until the pm. Universal Studios Day with late check in at Disney's All Star Music 10pm or 11pm

Tuesday August 28: Unpack and either hang at the resort or Disney Springs until Kona Cafe at 2:30pm and the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party from 4pm-11pm

Wednesday August 29: HS DAY (HS hours 9a - 9p)

Sounds like you don't plan to get Universal park-to-park tickets? This means you won't be able to ride the Hogwarts Express from one Harry Potter land to the other.

Just wanted to make sure you were aware of that.

Oh yeah! We're going to get park to park tickets. I just wrote where we plan on starting out :) We're huge Potter fans so that is a must!

Thursday August 30: Animal Kingdom Day (AK hours 9a - 830p) Tusker House Rivers of Light lunch @ 12:30, Boma dinner @ 5:45, & Rivers of Light at 8:45

I would have a hard time doing two buffets in one day, especially only 5 hrs apart. Any possibility of doing Sanaa on Thur and finding something else for the 31st? Maybe something at Disney Springs? OR maybe just do Satu'li for dinner instead of Boma?

Also, keep an eye on those park hours; I expect some earlier starts at HS and MK.

I wouldn’t do both Tusker house and Boma in the same day or at least thy close together. I’d probably drop Boma.

On your last day I don't think you'll have time to eat at CP and get back to the hotel for ME pick-up at 11

Crystal Palace @ 915am Flight @ 1:50pm (Magical Express pick-up around 11am or Uber)

I also agree that Tusker House and Boma both in the same day is too much. The summer heat & humidity can really kill your appetite. We ate breakfast and supper only, a light snack in between.

On your final day, you probably won't have time for ME. They pick you up 3 hours before your flight time, so 10:50. By the time you finish your breakfast (let's assume 10:15 at the earliest) and then get back to All Stars, you would probably be late. If you want to make use of ME I would try and make your breakfast reservation earlier.

We're there at the same time as you! And looks like we'll be in the same parks on some days too. I love your plan.

I would do the Fantasmic on your full DHS day on Aug 29th and that will leave Sept 2 open for HEA.

A minor thing, but it may be worthwhile to swap your DHS time on the 2nd for the EP time on the 4th that way you'll have the easier park hop from EP to MK on the 2nd and just the one park on the 4th to bus to.
