I have seen this suggestion a few times. Try for VQ for GOTG. Get Genie plus at opening time for Ratatouille. Stop by Frozen then go to Ratatouille in the 1 hour window. Then get Genie Plus for Test Track. We will be there on a Sunday in Oct. Will have early entry. Will rope drop. We will buy ILL for GOTG if we don't get the VQ. How does this sound for the morning.

You shouldn't have any trouble gettin VQ fr Guardians, certainly in the afternoon drop if not the morning. But be aware that your callback time for that ride can really vary and even with the VQ, you're probably still going to be in line or on the ride for an hour. So think about that in your planning. As for the rest, it not exactly how I would do it, but it seems reasonable

I'm working on my epcot plan too for early Aug as I rarely do G+ in epcot but we may give it a whirl this time since it's a girls only trip so we're down a person so not as much $$. I've not done G+ in epcot since it first dropped since I never really feel like it's of value.

When in October will you be there? Oct can be pretty high crowds but overall, your plan is very doable. As usual, the sticky wicket for the plan with epcot is always Guardians. Prior to Gotg opening, it was really easy to navigate epcot overall. You just don't know how long it will take to get through if you get a BG with the VQ whereas with iLL$, it moves much faster. Here's my current plan for Epcot with somewhere in there some time for guardians~
  1. 7am Try VQ Gotg, if we don't get it, buy iLL$ and try again for VQ at 1pm
  2. Remy G+ (was thinking that I may struggle to get an early time but who knows. I don't mind modifying and fiddling with G+ but I just tend to expect the worst. Plus I have teenagers so I'm thinking we may bypass RD and just start the day around 10 or 11.)
  3. TT G+
  4. FEA G+ -may not happen if we take later Remy return time so we may bypass FEA this time or just ride at park close.
If we decide to RD, the plan was to start at TT, Mission Space and lollygag over to Soarin/LWTL and then meander into WS for Remy/FEA and sustenance/drinks, but I'm not really holding my breath for anyone to get up early. We do tend to backtrack more with iLL$/G+ so to me that's a negative but if it saves some standby line time, overall in the end, that's a win. We also tend to skip out midday and head back to the resort or may book us an ADR to get out of the heat. All this to say, that while I feel like we both want to accomplish a lot, I'm really thinking it's not that much in the way of attractions so I think your plan is totally feasible and realistic.

Sounds like a good plan generally. I do think Epcot is a park you kind of need to have a base plan and go with what comes as you get everything figured out. I think starting with Frozen is a good plan. VQ and G+ times for Remy and GOTG are unpredictable. So you kind of need to go with the flow on what happens next once you know on those. TT can sometimes be hard to get a LL for so it is a bit hit or miss. Single rider works well there though even if you aren't true single riders because you often get to ride with someone from your group back to back since the seats are 3 and 3. If you have later Remy and VQ it may make sense to head to TT after Frozen if the lines are still short.

I was thinking about the single rider line at TT. We will have a 3 year old who may not be tall enough by Oct. Can you do a rider swap with the single rider line. We will have 10 or 12 adults, a 7 year old who is tall enough. Then again, the 7 year old will have to be with one of the adults. So this may or not work.

No rider swap in the single rider line. But it is usually very quick, so no need to worry about it. In fact, form my experience, the SR line is usually faster than the LL line
