I have been adjusting and readjusting my ADRs and I still don't feel like I have them exactly the way I would like them. We (me and my boyfriend) will be on the deluxe dining plan (upgraded the regular free dining offer) from 11/28 - 12/3. We are both fairly adventurous eaters and love to try new things. As of right now I have mostly dinners and a few lunches thrown in. I would love to hear some suggestions for breakfasts or lunches. I will include an overview of what our days are scheduled to look like as well. I am looking for any feedback, comments, and suggestions (even if they are negative). So here it goes:

Arrival Day 11/28
We do not arrive until 2:45 and we plan on being in Epcot for the evening.
Dinner: San Angel Inn 7:15

11/29
Hollywood Studios in the AM. MVMCP in the PM
Breakfast/Lunch: No plans yet
Dinner: Narcoossees 5:50 PM

11/30
AK in the AM. Epcot PM and EMH.
Breakfast/Lunch: No plans yet
Dinner: Ohana 6:35 PM (This is what I have right now. I should BF the menu and photos last night and he said he really wasn't that interested. I may be changing this possibly to Artist Point....he clearly doesn't understand what I had to go through to even get the ADR...I am a little disappointed with the thought of cancelling, but I did ask his input so....)

12/1
Day kind of up in the air. Plan on maybe doing Epcot during the day and DTD after dinner. No real plans.
Breakfast/Lunch: No real plans, but may try to sneak in WGP Express
Dinner: Jiko 7:30PM

12/2
MK during the day. HS at night.
Lunch: Trails End 12:30 PM (BF really likes cheesy grits. They have a cheesy grit item on the menu. I myself and a big fan of smores so really looking forward to the dessert)
Dinner: Flying Fish 5:55 PM

12/3
Epcot AM. MK PM
Lunch: Marrakesh 12:15 PM (Boyfriends request)
Dinner: Citricos 6:20 PM

Let me know your thoughts!!!! :yay::yay:

I wouldn't do Narcossees at 5:50 with MVMCP, you will likely be finished when the party has already started.
For our MVMCP evening we decided to have a late lunch in MK at 4pm and some snacks later during the party, so that we won't miss anything.

I can't really comment on lunch and dinner because we mostly did quick service meals for lunch and dinner. :confused3 But I would definitely suggest making breakfast reservations at each park. This is what worked best for us.....

We made all of our ADRs for breakfast before each park opened in whatever park we would be visiting that day (Tusker House at AK was our personal favorite). I would highly recommend doing that! It worked out so well for us, and we will definitely do that again in the future. We have great pictures in front of the landmarks with very minimal crowds in the background. We would finish breakfast right before the parks opened, so that cut down on "fighting the crowds" to get in the parks. We could just rush over to the area we wanted to start in that day. We did not do breakfasts at the other resorts because we did not want to mess with all of the transportation back and forth. We only had one dinner ADR because we did not want to be tied down to a specific time for lunch or dinner. This worked best for us because we could just eat our other meals when we got hungry throughout the day. :goodvibes

Your MVMCP day is what jumped out at me, too. I'd do a late lunch that day instead- maybe at 50sPT or at your resort.

Where are you staying?

I loved 'Ohana- Sounds like BF made other requests, so if you want to try it, I'd keep that one.

On 12/1 you're going to do EP to AKL to DTD? Will you have a car? Otherwise you are eating up a lot of time on buses.

We don't typically do TS for breakfast on days we're in the parks, but maybe consider Boma or Tusker House on your AK day?

Arrival Day 11/28
We do not arrive until 2:45 and we plan on being in Epcot for the evening.
Dinner: San Angel Inn 7:15 We love it here. Have a margarita of your choice and for entrees get the Pollo a las Rajas and the Sirloin Rellenos. IMO those are the 2 best dishes on the menu. I'd do this dinner a little earlier, if possible, if you care to see IllumiNations on this night. You might have to wait a while for your table, and service can be a bit slow here. The goal would be to finish your dinner (settle check and all) by 8:30 so you can get outside to find a good spot for the show

11/29
Hollywood Studios in the AM. MVMCP in the PM
Breakfast/Lunch: No plans yet
Dinner: Narcoossees 5:50 PM Don't know what to say about this day, maybe an early breakfast before rope drop at DHS? I would not use valuable party time (you are paying extra for the party tickets, get your money's worth by being there). Maybe a late lunch at DHS like at HBD, or late lunch at MK (CRT?)

11/30
AK in the AM. Epcot PM and EMH.
Breakfast/Lunch: No plans yet Late breakfast or early lunch at Tusker House?
Dinner: Ohana 6:35 PM (This is what I have right now. I should BF the menu and photos last night and he said he really wasn't that interested. I may be changing this possibly to Artist Point....he clearly doesn't understand what I had to go through to even get the ADR...I am a little disappointed with the thought of cancelling, but I did ask his input so....) Artist Point is awesome, but we also love 'Ohana. BF gets to make requests, why not you? Also, if you skip Narcoossee on MVMCP day, you can slip it in here.

12/1
Day kind of up in the air. Plan on maybe doing Epcot during the day and DTD after dinner. No real plans.
Breakfast/Lunch: No real plans, but may try to sneak in WGP Express
Dinner: Jiko 7:30PM Great choice!

12/2
MK during the day. HS at night.
Lunch: Trails End 12:30 PM (BF really likes cheesy grits. They have a cheesy grit item on the menu. I myself and a big fan of smores so really looking forward to the dessert)
Dinner: Flying Fish 5:55 PM IMO too close to lunch. What time does DHS close? Maybe go after closing.

12/3
Epcot AM. MK PM
Lunch: Marrakesh 12:15 PM (Boyfriends request)
Dinner: Citricos 6:20 PM I'd spread these two meals out more, personally (earlier lunch and later dinner).

Let me know your thoughts!!!! :yay::yay:

You are doing a lot of park hopping, and I don't know the park hours. Are you staying on-site...using EMH? We don't park hop anymore, so looking at that kind of plan seems a bit overwhelming. We are doing the DxDP for the first time this August (trip starts in 11 days) and I will hopefully have more advice to offer after my trip. Like you, we are doing many signatures for dinner, with either lunch or breakfast as our other meal. I have taken great pains to make sure our meals are spaced really far apart so we can enjoy each one. It's different for us, though, because we are travelling in summer and the parks are usually open later.

Here are some suggestions for lunch in the MK area: The Plaza, Liberty Tree Tavern, Kona Cafe, Grand Floridian Cafe

Epcot: Biergarten, LeCellier, Via Napoli

We don't typically do sit-down breakfasts, but this time we added Kona Cafe and Crystal Palace (because I love Eeyore and we can get into MK before opening).

My Opinion would not do Narcosses on the Christmas Party night, you will miss to much.
Heres some ideas to make the plan work.

When you do the Deluxe Plan u best bet is too do a 1 TS breakfast/ early lunch at table services and a 2 TS at night.

arrival how about Le Cellier trying 2 TS or Epcot area signature ( Yachtsmen, Fly Fish), and make San Angel another day for lunch ( have 1 TS left for this day already)

11/29- Hollywood Studios Brown Derby lunch 2TS
and Party night I would use 1 TS @ Liberty/ Tonys or Crystal Palace or MK resort dining close and early ( Kona, Ohana, Grand Fla Cafe,) know u can go as early as 4 0 clock into Party with you ticket.

11/30 Animal Kingdom I would book Tusker House for breakfast or lunch or Yak and Yeti for lunch- I TS
I would make this my Narcosses night. 2 TS

12/1 San Angel Inn for lunch 1 TS
Jiko for 2 TS ( great restaraunt)

12/2 Trails End 1 TS
Fly Fish 2 TS

12/3 Marakesh 1 TS
Citricos 2 TS

Still have 1 TS to use one morning for early breakfast on 12/1, 12/2 or 12/ 3

Have a fun trip no matter what u decide.

I guess ADRs are all down to personal choice.....Personally, I think all of your choices are good, apart from the fact that you will have to travel out of the parks to some of your ADRs.....I would stick with Ohana if you can, I really did not rate Artist Point at all. I also note the absence of California Grill, very close to MK and the fireworks from the viewing platform are so romantic...(I can link you into my YouTube video of them if you like!)

Good luck with whatever you choose!

Arrival Day 11/28
Dinner: San Angel Inn 7:15 - Have not eaten here. Like the ambience, but worried that it will not be like the Mexican food we are used to, so we pass. Always visit La Cava de Tequila though!

11/29
Dinner: Narcoossees 5:50 PM - Knowing you have MVMCP planned and that people start entering around 4pm even though the party doesn't officially start until 7, I would reconsider this. I wouldn't say don't do it, just maybe put it on a different night.

11/30
Dinner: Ohana 6:35 PM - This is a hard to get ADR, but we are not Ohana lovers either. And I don't know that I would go from AK to EP with a stop at the Poly in between. Just seems like you will be going very far out of your way.

12/1
Dinner: Jiko 7:30PM - I am jealous. We have yet to eat here, but I really really want to.

12/2
This day looks good overall.
Lunch: Trails End 12:30 PM
Dinner: Flying Fish 5:55 PM

12/3
This day looks good overall as well. I wouldn't personally do Marrakesh. I prefer the QS in Morocco.
Lunch: Marrakesh 12:15 PM (Boyfriends request)
Dinner: Citricos 6:20 PM

Thanks for all the suggestions!!

After taking a look at my ADRs I realize that I am doing a bit of "running around". I am used to staying either in a monorail hotel or in an Epcot area hotel making it much easier to pop into a park for an ADR. This time around we are staying at Coronado Springs so I may need to rework a few things.

I have already pushed back my two lunch ADRs to 11:30 to allow for more time between lunch and dinner.

We are not big breakfast eaters. I usually have to be up for a few hours before I can consume even a bowl of cereal so that is why I haven't made any breakfast ADRs.

I am currently trying to find a good place for a late lunch on my MVMCP night and I will most likely move my Narcoossee's ADR to the Ohana night...

Thanks again for all the tips! If anyone else has anything to add feel free.
