Help Making my ADR's Sunday - AAAAAAAAAAAH!

Me, DH haven't been since my first trip on our honeymoon 12 years ago. DD's 9, 2, their first. DxDP. Going in July, HOT, break for TS will be welcomed! Probably won't eat much lunch, but my girls are grazers and
have to eat 3 meals a day! Planning on nap breaks immed. following lunch, then return later. We have PH, too.

Check in day Ohana 7:30 (need an alternate if not available, may try to switch w/ WCC on Monday)

Sun (AK) Tusker B - 8am, Y&Y 12pm, Boma dinner 7
Mon (MK) CP 8, Plaza 12, WCC 6

Tues SLEEP IN!
Ohana 10, HDDR 6? Will go wherever we want these days, maybe catch MK parade if we miss Mon.

Wed. (EP) HERE IS MY MAIN DILEMMA -
Akershus 8am
12 Coral Reef
6 Le Cell ... or Marakeesh (my girls love belly dancing).. but will we regret no Le Cell? Steak good enough at Coral Reef to make us happy? OR skip CR, do Marakeesh lunch, and Le Cell dinner???

Thurs (DHS)
H&V 8
HBD fantasmic, whenever offered! Prob. early, I'm guessing

Friday
1900 PF 9
dinner CM? (we've probably seen him enough! OR is this a must do?) or the Wave?
Or is there some resort dinner we've missed? Don't want 2TS credit... Don't want parks b/c don't know which one we'll end up on this day... Or do we head to DTD, which rest. there? No T REX!

Sat check out, CRT 10ish (good time?), play in MK until tired, head for home!

TIA!

Are you doing the delux dining plan? That's a lot of TS meals throughout the day and i think it's going to be hard to fit them in and actually see some of the park. I think for a seasoned Disney addict it would be fine, but since it's pretty much your first time back, you'll want to see more. Plus if you plan on going back for naps....Lets say it takes you 1.5 hours per meal plus a 2hr. nap, that's already 6.5 hrs. taken out of your day?!

I'd considering doing two CS's and a TS a day or at least a CS and 2 TS's.

The restaurants all look great, i'd just cut down some.

My what a lot of food. Wouldn't work for my family but we are large breakfast and dinner people and not much throughout the day. Also we like to 'do' the parks all day.

That said though the restaurant choices look fabulous.

Check in day Ohana 7:30 - great food, nice entertainment for a family and if you are lucky and get a window seat you will get a great view of the castle. Would definitely go for this one.

Sun (AK) Tusker B - 8am, Y&Y 12pm, Boma dinner 7 Can't comment on Tusker or Yak and Yeti but Boma is my favourite meal at WDW. Love the hummus and salads. The kids love the fruit and the meats. We all love the desserts. The chocolate boozy mousse and the cocomisu are my favourites. If you enjoy a drink the strawberry basil lemonade with vodka is my favourite cocktail in the whole world ever.

Mon (MK) CP 8, Plaza 12, WCC 6 Love the breakfast at CP and to get there before opening is amazing. The pooh and piglet waffles are a must. Great coffee too. Never been to Plaza but we love the skillet at WCC. Basic food but well-cooked and I'd definitely go back.
Tues SLEEP IN!
Ohana 10, HDDR 6? Ohana breakfast is probably my favourite non-princess character meal. We did this for the first time in February. The welcome bread and fruit were lovely. The coffee was good. Not so keen on their cooked breakfast but the rest of the family enjoyed it and my son dreams of the juice. The characters were wonderful. Stitch hilarious and lilo and Mickey and pluto so cute.
HDDR was another first this trip and I couldn't imagine going to florida in the future without doing it. Great family night out. Again like WCC basic food but well-cooked. dH enjoyed the red wine and I enjoyed the sangria. Only criticism of this place for us was very slow service.
Wed. Akershus 8am My favourite breakfast of this trip. The character interaction was great. Belle out front was a bit abrupt but the others were great. Mulan was a first for my DD and the real reason for our visit. The buffet starter of lox, salami and fruit and pastries is great and I thought would be enough for me as I don't really eat a lot of cooked breakfast until I ate those potatoes. Honestly it is like a cheesy potato bake and I had four helpings. OMG I felt so full afterwards but yum yum yum.
12 Coral Reef
6 Le Cell ... or Marakeesh
Can't help here sorry never been to any of them.
Thurs (DHS)
H&V 8 sorry not been
HBD fantasmic, a fabulous meal. We had to eat at 4.15pm but honestly it was lovely. Definitely recommend the steak and creme brulee and I loved the cobb salad. Was a bit too much food for my son who was 10 and eating the adult menu for the first time but my DD had the fish and it looked delicious.

Friday
1900 PF 9 Please don't do this. It is the worst meal of my entire life and I even tried it twice and the dinner too. All disgusting. Do not waste your time or money. Go somewhere else. Boma breakfast is often recommended and will be on our list for our next trip. Don't go please don't go.
dinner CM? We've eaten at the Contemporary twice but never here because the birds flying over the buffet kind of put me off. We ate at the Concourse STeakhouse when it was there and this time had a great meal at the Contempo Cafe on our last day but I would choose the wave if I was going for a full service meal here.

Sat check out, CRT the food may disappoint you but the castle never will. WEnt again this trip already knowing that the food was ordinary but that meal, the princesses, the castle can't be beaten. Fruit and pastries are great but not worth the money.

Have a fabulous trip

Wow, that is a ton of food. I understand eating 3 meals a day, we are like that. We found out on the DxDP that eating 3 TS a day is killer. It is painful by the 3rd day just to force yourself to eat. I would personally schedule breakfast and dinner. Do the character things...they are fun, and if it is your girls' first time, then you have to do it. it is what makes Disney dining fun. I would do QS for lunch in lieu of TS meals. Your stomach will thank you for it. And it does take up a lot of time away from the actual parks, which will be disappointing when you look back at it when you get home.

But I would do Le Cellier over Marrakesh anyday. We like both, but we like Le Cellier better.

But what it comes down to, what do you want to do? Do you want to go to WDW to eat or to have fun?

I know you say you're planning on grazing, but you really don't have much time between breakfast and lunch here and if you're planning on a nap/break after lunch you aren't giving yourself much park time at all. I think instead of Y&Y, I'd try out the new picnic lunch option here or make lunch an hour or two later.

Mon (MK) CP 8, Plaza 12, WCC 6

Again, same issue re: breakfast and lunch times. It seems to me that 8am breakfasts would work better if lunch was at 1-ish. WCC followed by an evening in MK should be fun!

Ohana is my fave character breakfast! Stitch is so fun!

We weren't all that impressed with Coral Reef, so I'd probably go with Marrakesh lunch/Le Cellier dinner. In booking this one, though, try for Le Cellier dinner first. If you can get it, go with Marrakesh lunch/Le Cellier dinner. If you can't, go back to the original plan of Coral Reef lunch/Marrakesh dinner.

Looks good! HBD is one of the restaurants I'm most looking forward to trying for the first time on our next trip.

You have enough character meals that I don't think you'd regret skipping CM. The reviews I've read of the Wave look really good.

In Downtown Disney, we've done Wolfgang Puck Cafe (good but not great), Planet Hollywood (DS11's suggestion; he loved it, we thought it was WAY too loud but the food was good), and Capt Jacks (not impressive at all, wouldn't go back now that they took the lobster off the menu). Raglan Road looks really good, and if your girls love belly dancing they might also like the Irish dancer there.

I love this! What a nice way to end the trip. pixiedust:

THanks so much for your input! AFter showing the critiques to DH, he said - I never wanted to schedule lunches, anyway. MEN!

So we took out all lunches, added a 2 TS...

Sat - Ohana 7:30
Sun Tusker 8am, Boma 6pm
Mon - CP 8 am, WCC 6pm
Tues - Ohana 10am, HDDR not sure of the times...)
Wed - Akershus 8am, Marakeesh 6:30
Thurs. H&V - 8 , MM Fantasmic??
Friday Boma 10, Narcoosee's 7
Sat CRT 10:30 (will that give us enough time to check out and get in?) Afraid that if we wait until lunchtime MK might be closing due to crowds or something!

Thanks everyone!

Revised scheduled looks great!

Actually looks very similar to my plan in september:

We are doing: Crystal Palace, Ohana, Akershus, Mama Melrose, Boma, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Sci Fi, and Trex. We have similar tastes!
