Hello. Does anyone recollect if any of the restaurants on property serve Cristal Champagne. Also, do you remember how much per bottle it was? DH and I are going down in September to celebrate our 15th anniversary (the "crystal" anniversary)...I thought a play on words may be appropriate! I can get it shipped from wine.com for roughly $200, but I don't know if they would accept the shipment at the BWV's. Thanks for any help.

Have a great day.

Awww! I think that is such a great idea for your "crystal" anniversary! I am sorry, i do not have an answer to you question. You should call the Boardwalk Villas and see what you can arrange...I bet they could accomodate you!

I love that you are celebrating your anniversary at WDW! You will have a blast!

Thanks for appreciating the idea! Funny thing is...my DH apparently had the same idea! He went on this site this morning to look up "Cristal" and found my posting :rotfl2: Do you think we've been married long enough?! So much for a surprise. Seems as if he's already worked something out.
I told him he could not look at any of my other posts as there is another surprise I have planned. Can anyone think of something else to go with "Crystal"...I was think maybe dinner at Crystal Palace, but it's so noisy in there...Thanks again!!

OMG! That is so sweet that you two had the same idea!

You know, there is a company that does things like putting things in the room before you arrive. I wish I knew how to search for it, but since I do not know the name, I can't. Maybe you can start a thread and ask. Anyway, they could leave a bottle of Cristal along with two crystal champagne glasses.

I have nothing against the Crystal palace, but I certainly don't consider it romantic. I am sure you know that...just trying to keep with the theme, right?

Ok, I am not too creative, but I will keep trying to think of something else. But look into that comapny that specializes in leaving stuff in the room. That would be cool!

Not for nothing but you could start your day of with a crystal breakfast at CP in MK and it would be a crystal moment :p

The only place I can think of that may have Cristal available is Shula's. They have quite a wine list there.

Thank you all, but what I meant by "he's already worked something out" was that he already bought a bottle and has somehow arranged for it to be at the BWV's for when we check in. I'm not sure of the details as it was meant to be a surprise. While I think two bottles would be wonderful, I think we can spend the money on something else fun while we are there. Must be love...

Oh...LOL...I missed the "worked something out" in relation to the "he had the same idea" statement! I didn't put the two togther! but now it is "crystal clear!"

LOL :rotfl:

Have fun!

It sounds like you don't need to worry about it any more, but keep in mind that you can always fly with a bottle of wine/champagne in your carryon, if you want something like Cristal that will be completely overpriced to buy there!

Good one wildernesslodgelover!!!

I think it's overpriced EVERYWHERE, but Disney (I'm sure) would charge double what I've been able to price it out for. I will say, however, the several times I've had Cristal vs Dom - the Cristal wins hands down. I really do not like the Dom, I'd take a nice bottle of Moet over it any day. But, to each his/her own!!

Have a great night. Think of me with three extra kids (all boys!). AHHHHH.
