Could be. This is Derek's first really long term relationship. And he was really bothered that he thought she would end things. It the past, while he was sad when the women got fed up with him being away so much, his job always came first. If she's pregnant, his private life would be coming together for him.

Yep! Sad to lose him, makes me wonder what they are going to add in replace of him

No, they need an A.L.P.H.A. male to replace him. Someone young, super-hot, strong, sexy and super-fit who can chase down the unsubs when they try to run away.

Derek was even annoyed last week at having to chase & tackle the unsub. Maybe he was showing the job is getting to him and it doesn't mean as much to him anymore.

Seriously. He was an FBI agent on Dollhouse - I kept thinking he'd be perfect for CM Someone needs to give him another lead role somewhere. The 26 episodes of Dollhouse wasn't enough of a Tahmoh binge for me I miss him
