Wow, I like that they actually have on someone with an accent, who doesn't need to have an accent.

I just realized, the only other times where they had someone on with an accent is when they did an episode down in Mexico, and another, I think in Texas, near the Mexican border.

I don't think criminal minds had an episode where one of the missing kids actually died. Did they? Before, they were always saved. Always happy ending. This episode is so sad.

I don't think criminal minds had an episode where one of the missing kids actually died. Did they? Before, they were always saved. Always happy ending. This episode is so sad.

Maybe after Jaycee Dugard and those 3 women found alive in Cleveland, Ohio, too many parents have been having their hopes raised again, and the writers wanted to show it's just not realistic?

There was an autistic kid here, who has been missing for about 7 weeks now. he can't talk. he can't even feed himself. He just simply walked out of his school and was never seen again. At the end of the 3rd week, the police commissioner here said that the kid will probably not be found alive and that he was pulling back the amount of police on the case.

The mother went CRAZY. She went on the news, saying how could Comm. Kelly could even say something like that??? While, he wasn't being the most tactful, according to statistics, what he said was probably true. But, pressure was put on him, and he ended up keeping many more cops on the case, when they probably should have been working on other, current cases.

I was actually thinking the same thing. I'd rather the writers be realistic about it. If you notice the ending of criminal minds in the past,it was usually a happy ending. Sure ppl died, but someone always hot saved I'm the end. I'm glad they're shaking things up a bit!

What about the episode where the boy killed his little brother? The parents and their cop friend staged it as a kidnapping.

It's happened before, at least twice. One of the kids in "Mosley Lane" (the first episode MGG directed) died. And there was the episode where the kid killed his younger brother. There are probably more but those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.
