I don't get why Rossi couldn't have done the parole evaluation with Hotch away? Morgan had been put in charge of the BAU last season, when Hotch temporarily stepped down. You'd think he could handle that stuff again and Rossi could have gone to interview that guy. The's the senior profiler.

I still can't believe they exchanged Blondie for J.J. So far, she adds nothing to the team.

In essence, we had Hotch and J.J. missing this episode.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT from CBS:
The new spin-off series, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior,
will premiere Feb 16, 2011,
right AFTER the regular Criminal Minds show, Weds, from 10 - 11PM (EST).


I guess they figure it works for A&E and ION to show back to back Criminal Minds, so they can do it too. CM continually wins their Wed nite time slot in ratings and number of viewers each week.


We were introduced to the new spin-off team last season. It was the one where Forest Whitaker's team joined forces with our usual team in San Francisco, to stop some guy who was forcing men to beat each other to death, while he was holding hostage the daughter of one of the men forced to fight.

They are going to tie the two series together by having Garcia working on that show, too, as their technical analyst. There was one episode this season where Hotch said he would set it up so she could be more efficient in her computer room to ONLY be have to be doing all her tech stuff, is setting the story line up so she can plausibly be work two teams/two cases at a time.
