And a barber!

Flip over to NBC during commercial......she's on SVU right now:)

Ooo! I'm taping it.

Newbie has as high an IQ as Reid! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

:worship: Thank goodness no Seaver repeat. . . but, of course, it's probably because she's a brunette like Emily.

I know I was offended for Morgan when she said it......

You're right, she's not a Seaver, but they've developed a Reid 2.0. High IQ, socially inept....

Is that the polite term for pretentious & rude?

At least Reid was never that.

Still, I prefer the high IQ over the dumbness of Seaver, in which everything had to be repeated & explained to her.

I agree!

"Is that blood?" :p

:lmao:

Newbie put Reid out of a job this episode though. HE'S usually the smart one who solves cases and would know sign language. He had about 500 words less dialogue tonight. The case was solved way too soon when she came up with the answer. It was also very convenient that they needed a brunette female for the unsub to relate to.

However, I knew the guy was going to kill himself when she said, "There is no other way," or something like that. For all her intelligence, she should have at least tried to disarm him, instead of saying that. Like, saying he could be put in some cushy mental ward, needing silence for his condition, etc. He might have bought it and put the gun down.

Yeah I saw that coming as soon as she said that too. If a 19 year old college sophomore could figure that out she should've seen it coming

That last scene was so creepy. I read somewhere that there's a season long un-sub this year popcorn::

The writers like to MAKE SURE that we as the audience on crystal clear with character development. Example #1: When JJ returned to the team as profiler, SHE solved the case by figuring out the whole heart shape figure on the map. Normally, that would be Reid, but the writers seem to stick in things that don't fit just so we can be very sure that the audience knows JJ IS A PROFILER NOW:rotfl2:

So they have to prove to us that Alex is very smart by having her solve the case

Just my theory.....:rolleyes1

Yeah, or that we know the unsub is going to kill himself waaay before the Team figures it out and can stop him.

Oh, and did anyone else catch that it was Strauss who handed out the case folders that morning? Did she get demoted since coming back from rehab and now has J.J.'s old job?

If so, there couldn't be enough of Garcia's tea or coffee with enough caffeine to make one awake enough to see Strauss first thing every morning! :scared1:

Before we all see some nefarious plot in the fact that Newbie is brunette, please realize that about 60% of the world's population is brunette. It's the second most common hair color, after black hair. The fact that JJ's replacement was blonde - yeah, that's a setup. But that Emily's is brunette - not so much.

I have never like newbie actress/JT. She always seems flat and unemotional, two things I don't really look for in a performance. I think she's overrated. Plus, her eyes are so wideset that they creep me out. Fish eyes. I don't think I am going to like this addition.
