Cricut tags sizing correction.

I have a question. How is this tag book swap going to work? I was looking at the swap calendar a few nights ago and thought this might be something I'm interested in. I'd kinda like to get in on the zoo tag swap too, but I'll be away during sign-ups...

The tag books will be 6-8 people per group probably. Each person does a double sided tag (2??) and they'll go together for a mini-album. The groups will be Disney themed, I think

So I cut my test tags tonight and here are the dimensions. It's late so I won't post pics tonight but I will tomorrow.

The pointed tag cut at the 5 inch setting (won't do 5.5) is 2 1/2 inches wide and 5 7/16 inches tall. It is 4 1/2 inches tall to the bottom of the hole.

The scalloped tags are 3 inches wide and 5 7/16 inches tall, 4 1/2 to the bottom of the hole.

I kind of like the look of the scalloped, it looks more in proportion. I'll get the pics up first thing tomorrow. DD has a check up so I'll be gone after 11am.

I don't think so. I'm cutting other stuff out right now so bear with me and I'll cut one out in regular and real dial.

the tags are the same size with or without the real dial size.

Yes, once you get into the larger sizes, Real Dial Size makes no difference. It's really only with fonts and smaller sizes.

And yes, I found that out the hard way.

Can someone please measure the hole size on the tags for me. I traced the tag in wishblade, and got the correct tag size, but the hole seems a little large.

3/16" (the size of a handle held hole punch)... or the crop-a-dile (better known in my house as the "alligator" by DS6, or the "NO more mommy cussing by DS11!)

it's 9/32 from the top of the tag to the top of the hole and the hole itself is 1/4 inch.

Go with your measurements... I put my hole punch over the hole and that is what my hole punch says the hole size is....

Go w/ BAMB's measurements!

Hey, I know why my dimensions were wrong to begin w/.. I was using my zooballoo tags!

I believe your dimensions are correct Buffy!
