Cricut Sharing

I just thought it would be interesting to have a place to talk Cricut stuff. What new cartridges are on your wish list? Have you tried anything new with your machine yet?

I got Doodlecharms as my second cartridge. I'm planning on using it for these swaps that I have signed up for. I'm not sure what my next one will be. I was talking at the LSS, and they have tried more of the fonts...she said that Jasmine is her least favorite, and showed me why...she just LOVES Mini Monograms...

So, now I'm stumped as to which to get next. My DS14 has used it several times now for class projects...He wants to use it all the time now, making and crafting...

I was thinking about getting tags and boxes next. Anyone have a review and maybe some pics of items?

I have Jasmine but havent tried it yet. Still working on George that comes with it. Why is it her least favorite

About Jasmine, she said the sizes aren't consistant. Some are large and some are smaller. I have seen a few done with it on 2Peas, and I liked what I saw. You will have to let me know what you think.

Today I was able to get Tags, Boxes and Bags using an AC Moore coupon at Mike's. I will be playing with that over the weekend.

I got a Joann's coupon, so I might get another one. I'm afraid they will stop accepting the coupons on the Cricut accessories, so I want to get as many with as I can.

I'm the same way. I was lucky enough to use 40% coupon at AC to get the machine (well, Dh was, but I gave him the idea and the coupon ) I'm so afraid they are going to stop taking coupons for everything! Last week, my Michaels had a sign up that they don't accept any coupons on anything cricut. So I said to my 2 year old, right in front of the manager that's ok because Joann and AC Moore will happily accept the money I'll be spending there! Hopefully, my Joann's and ACM will keep on taking them.

So far, I just have George and was able to try it out for about a half hour. My machine came in on Wednesday afternoon and I was away all day yesterday and have a ton of things to do before we go away for the day again tomorrow. As for cartridges, Mini Monograms and Doodlecharms are top on my list!

On Sunday, I plan to sit down and play all day long.

When I was at Mike's yesterday I was looking for signs about the coupons...nothing. However the machine was "On Sale" for 279.99, so that is how they are stopping the coupon thing for the machine at the store. Today I have a 40% Joann's, and a 40% Joann's that starts tomorrow. Not sure what I'm getting, but I know I'm going.

I didn't play with the tags/boxes one, but I can see that my sizzix is going to be collecting dust...

Anyway, DS was pushing for the animal one, but I didn't think I would use it that much, especially since the Doodlecharms has a dog and a cat...

Well, I did it! I found a price that I could live with and I bought it. www.memories.com has a 30% sale going on and with their already discounted price and free shipping, how could I say no? We don't have ACM around here and JoAnns & Michaels are not accepting coupons right now.

So I will be anxiously awaiting its arrival. In the meantime, I used my Michaels 50% off coupon to buy the All Mixed Up cartridge.

I bought Jasmine yesterday with the 50% off at Mike's It was between that one and Teardrop. What sold me was the diamond charms that you can cut...wow, I was seeing all kinds of cards and ornaments...I also liked the sayings...

DS14 used the tags, boxes, and bags one to make a really cute popcorn box and a heart...

On another board, I saw where some people were spraying the mat with Dritz adhesive...I think I'll try that when mine gets less tacky.

Did it advertise 30% off. I went to the site don't see any sign of sale..but of course don't know how mucht these cutting systems run on the mainland. I'm in Hawaii...where I don't have all those wonderful stores.

Unfortunately, the sale is over (I think it was through 5/31). They did have a 30% coupon up on their website. Checkout their free shipping and make sure that it includes Hawaii, then sign up for their newsletter. Then, if they have another sale, you'll know ASAP.

Hopefully, people will keep sharing about sales here, too.
