Cricut Question.....

My wife has both Cricuts and loves them, but we have a question.

Are there any programs available that let you scan a design in from your scanner/PC and load it into your Cricut?

Reason: About two weeks ago, we had a project for our 4th Grade DD to make brims for a "Cat in the Hat" day with their "reading buddies" at school. It took about 6 hours to lay out and cut (by hand) the 90 half brims we needed.

If we could have scanned the template and uploaded it to the Cricut, it would have been much easier on my back and hands.

Just wondering....

Thanks for your help!

At this point no there is not and honestly I don't think there will be for some time. Why buy a cart when you can just download off the Internet?

One thing to look into for next time in the DS software. They don't have cat in the hat, but you probably could have come up with a good likeness using it.

There is a program called Sure-Cuts-A-Lot (found at www.craftedge.com) that will cut True Type fonts using the Cricut.

Maybe if you could find a Dr. Suess dingbats font you could cut the hats that way?
