Which is a better deal?

$327 for the Expression with the Schoolbook & Accent Essentials cartridge

$251 for the Expression with no cartridges

I can't find anything cheaper - so if there's a cheaper option out there, please let me know. The only local craft store I have is JoAnns which doesn't carry the machine.

What's a good/average (not full price) cost for the cartridges?

I'm very new to the Cricut stuff, so I have no idea what I'm looking for really.

You can normally get the cartridges on sale for 40-50 dollars, sometimes less when they are older. Check and see what deal AC Moore has online as they have an expression with 4 cartridges that they sell, I am just not sure about what the price is. Also sometimes hallmarkscrapbooking.com has great prices on the machine and the cartridges. If you are willing to wait a little while I would say you could get a better deal.
