Cricut cartridge question

I'm trying to cut on my Cricut from a cartridge, which I hardly ever do, and I'm running into a problem.

Is there any way to cut only some of the things from a particular key using only the Cricut? What I have is a body and a head piece and some arms and because there's so much stuff I have to cut it tiny to make it all fit on the page. I have Sure Cuts Alot so I don't want to use Cricut Design Studio or whatever software they have because then I can't use SCAL anymore.

Any ideas on a way to cut it bigger? If it helps any it is the Lex Luther little box guy from the Superman cartridge. I should have know the bad guy would give me trouble

just don't do the update on the craftroom & you can use it
or make a file just like it in inkscape

I thought I had to update my software to use the craft room. I'll have to check it out. I hate to make an inkscape file when I already bought the cartridge but I'll try that if craft room doesn't work or takes too long to learn.
