cricut and fabric?

Hi all...I don't have a cricut yet but just wondered if anyone has tried cutting fabric on their cricut??? It would be awesome to be able to use it to cut things out for applique....I figure if the fabric is pretty thin (compared to bazill cardstock!) it should be ok??

I'm not sure that fabric would cute well with the Cricut. Maybe felt but think there would be too much play in the weave of fabric.
