Am i crazy or did I read somewhere that cribs are aavilable on a first come first served request? I am not talking about pack-n-plays. We have a pack-n-play. My 18 month old would probably sleep much better in a crib. Does this exist at WDW?:confused3

I called about a year ago to clarify what they had to offer. The reservation desk said they have PnPs, nothing about cribs. I believe I read on a previous post that all resorts now have PnPs.

Also, my DS was 18 months and ended up in a bed with bedrails. He wouldn't sleep in the PNP.

I just posted on the resort board about the same thing. They do have cribs but I don't know how wide spread they are at all the resorts. We stayed at CR and they had to find one for us after I said I wouldn't use a pnp. Hope you can find one, it sure helped our son sleep better. :)

I'll be bringing bed rails with me just in case. I'll sleep with my little guy if I need to. It's just pack-n-plays dont give him enough room to flop around in and he wakes up. The crib would just be nice cause then I wouldnt have to worry about and I could actually sleep in the same bed as hubby!:lovestruc

I'm pretty sure that all of the WDW resorts have bed rails. Just call and add the request to your reservation.

We rented a full size crib from babys best friend twice so far. You can rest assured that your baby is sleeping in a CLEAN crib. They include clean sheet, bumper, and quilt with the crib. Yes, it is another expense, but well worth it because it is your baby and your peace of mind. I find it well worth it. I slept with my baby for 1 night in a regular bed (before we moved into our room at SSR) and we pushed two chairs up against the bed for rails and it was horrible. Neither of us slept. He didn't know what to do, he rolled around all night and of course, I was worrying about him falling off so I couldn't sleep. Not to mention he was crawling all over me, etc. When we got to SSRand got the crib set up for his first night, he went down right after his bottle and curled up and went right to sleep. It was like he knew what to do and it was what he needed. We both slept better which in turn made for a better trip.

They do offer cribs. Though I have made such requests and they were not available upon arrival. Our last visit was earlier this month and I had requested bed rails. They were disgusting to say the least. This time, tomorrow (yeah!!!) we didn't request anything...
