We are planning a trip with our grandchildren, I know the resorts have pack and plays but can you get a crib? My grandson is going to be one and I think the pack and play would be too small as he is a big kid.

If so do I call Members Service to request one or wait till I get there.

Thanks in a advance for your help

DVC doesn't have cribs. The regular resorts have small cribs and sometimes you can get one from them. People often rent from an outside provider.

I've never stayed DVC, but I know last year when we stayed at the Contemporary my son was 8 months and I wasn't sure if he would sleep in the pack n play so I requested a crib. The crib they sent up was a metal crib that looked like it was from the 1950s and it just didn't look safe to me. Plus they don't provide bumpers or anything and it just didn't look safe. I ended up sending it back and getting the pack n play. I figured I would take my chances with something a little safer and surprisingly he slept in it. The pack n plays are a pretty good size. If you do end up deciding on a crib you should rent 1 from an outside vendor. This year when we are going we are bringing our own pack n play bc he's use to his own pack n play.
