Crib for 18 month old

My nepehew will be 18 months old when we cruise in January - what is the crib like on the Wonder. Is it justa pac-in-play or better? Where do you put it as we are in a category 10- SPH room.

Its just a pack and play. I just kept my 2 year old in bed with me but there is a couch that turns into a bed that you can call and get bedrails on.

Hi Neighbor,

As the above poster said, it is a pack n play. The pack n play we received was in very good condition---clean. My DD was not use to sleeping in a pack n play so I brought along her normal crib sheets so she would feel at home. The sheets don't fit very well so we had to do some tucking under. It worked out very well for us and she slept great!

we had the pack 'n play on the 10/2 cruise on the Magic, it worked out great, it was clean and in good condition, and they give you a fitted sheet that slides over the "mattress". From a safety perspective, the fitted sheet was tight enough that my wife and I had to struggle to get it on! We were worried about how our son would react not sleeping in his crib (he is 2), but he slept without problems. Good luck!

do you have to request one or do they have one in the stateroom?(they know the ages of travelers w/ you from making the reservation)

Our travel agent specifically talked to DCL about it being in the room so its noted on our ressie.

just a recommnedation..the pack and play takes up alot of room...ask your room steward to remove the coffee table to give you more space

On our first cruise, my DD was about the same age and we found the sofa/ twin bed to be perfect. It's against a wall and our Stateroom Host brought 2 bedrails (they're short ones) for the open side. It was perfect and she slept well - better than she usually does in a pack and play!!
