Crest Whitening Strips

I used the Crest Whitening Strips about 6 months ago before a wedding. My family really noticed the difference and I could tell a difference in my photos. I bought them before the price went down (didn't realize the price dropped) and I thought it was well worth the price!!

I will be buying them again and thanks for the coupon link.

A trick I used was to do the top teeth the first week (or two). The bottom strip has a lot of excess that wouldn't ordinarily be used. I cut the extra on the bottom strip and use that on my top teeth. This way I get an extra week or two on the top teeth for free.

I have a friend who tried using the Crest Strips and while she liked the results, they made her sick so she had to stop using them.

Tiffany I was sick to my stomach, dizzy and didn't feel well. I could have said that it was the flu or something except as soon as I stopped the problems stopped. As soon as I tried again I got sick again, stopped nothing. I am really hopping that I will be okay if I try them again

Kitty, I do not think that the Crest strips will help your "dead" tooth. It will brighten the rest of your teeth and remove the 'yellowing' from the dead tooth.. but that tooth will remain darker than the rest.. sorry.

Thanks for the reply tigercat. Now I am worried and might not buy them. I have a sensative stomach as it is.

I have a sensitive stomach, and the White Strips didn't bother that, however... I have very sensitive gums and they were very sore! I stopped using the strips, consulted their web site, and followed their suggestion of using a "sensitive formula" toothpaste. I'm still using the toothpaste (should've been using it all along, actually, since I knew that my gums were sensitive) but I'm hesitant to start using the strips again.

I've tried both the Crest Whitestrips and the Simply White. I couldn't stand the whitestrips, but love the Simply White! I think that the Simply White was much easier and less of a hassle than the strips. I had a hard time keeping the strips in place, and talking was difficult. I also noticed much more of a change with the Simply White.

Thanks for all the info.......DD is getting her braces off next week (after 2 1/2 yrs and a palate expander that was in place for 6 months before the braces) and has asked about getting the white strips to brighten up her expensive, straight teeth. Maybe now we will try them
