Cresent Lake?

Hi All.
Been checking around on the sites for rental houses. Has anyone stayed in Cresent Lakes? That is an area I have 2 possible houses in. I've checked vrbo, does anyone else have a link to a good rental site that is reputable?


Since I've never rented houses before for a trip like this, Is there ANYTHING I should know or ask before I commit that isn't something basic??? Anything??

Thanks. It looks like a nice area, but doesn't seem to have some of ammenities that other places have. I'm interested to know about Cresent Lakes and Hampton Lakes, seeing lots in both, and my choices seem to be narrowing to these two unless i'm missing some great website that has great prices in other locations.

Cl is quite a drive from the parks it will take you 15 mins from the 192 at least it did me last month .Quiet area nice homes but a bit far out for some.

We stayed at Cresent Lake last year.
I agree with JANNYANS, it was a quiet area and we felt it was quite far to WDW.
The area looked really nice, but the house we rented wasn't nice.

I can understand that it hadn't been cleaned properly due to one of the hurricanes, but some of the things were just old and dirty looking. Even the mat outside the patio door at the pool was falling apart - big holes in it. We never used the pool. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned for what looked like a long time. The couch in the living room was dirty as well.

The house just didn't feel looked after.
We have rented houses on two previous trips in different areas and they were beautiful. We were really disappointed this time.

I think it was proberly just this house that wasn't nice, as it did look a nice area.
