This may seem odd...but...

Can you use your own boat on Crescent Lake? Or any of the lakes at the WDW resorts? I know swimming isn't allowed. But what if you have your own canoe?
Or kayak?
Powerboat?
Motoryacht?
Ocean-going cruise liner? (Okay, I don't own my own cruise liner, but it would be pleasant!)

There is no way to put the boat into the water - no boat ramp for non-Disney vehicles.

I wonder what they would do if you did carry your canoe to the water and get in for nice paddle around? I bet the Disney boat police would come and get ya. :cool1:

they allow you to have your own bikes - but Disney has never allowed any but Disney boats on their lakes, streams & lagoons.

there was a reason at first to kept that bacteria out of the system - but hey it got in by itself....

I guess they want to make sure you don't do something stupid in front of one of their ferries?

There may be a slight, slight possibility, that at Fort Wilderness you might be able to use your own canoe or kayak. I doubt it, but it is worth a call to FW. The only reason I think this may be possible is because there is a fairly large secluded area solely for Scout groups. Maybe there are some little back waterways, where you could use your own canoe.
As for the rest of the WDW waterways, they are definitly only Disney Watercraft friendly. :Pinkbounc
