Creme Brulee?

My 15 year old has never had Creme Brulee and is on some weird mission to try it. (Maybe because she's learning French?)

There are restaurants here, in our city that serve it, of course, but I figured since we'll be leaving to WDW in a week, might as well make it part of the "Disney experience".

Does anyone know where, in WDW we can get Creme Brulee?

I'm assuming one of the restaurants in "France" at World Showcase would have it but I don't really want to have to do a whole table service sit-down at some fancy French restaurant just to get one dessert. For one thing,
my son and I don't really like french food and I'm not sure if we can just order that one thing for her. And two, I'm thinking whatever the restaurant is there in Epcot, requires a reservation- and I don't think it would be OK to reserve for three people (Me my 12 year old son and 15 year old daughter) and just order one thing, haha!

I don't want to have to pay 60 bucks for food my son and I are just going to push around on our plates so she can order her Creme brulee, lol!

Does any one know of any other place or whether we could just order the one thing for her?

We always get it as a CS at Wolfgang pucks in DTD.....oh I want some right now! lol!

The bakery in France usually has creme brûlée. I know you said your group isn't a fan of "French" food, but I'd encourage you to review the menu at Chefs de France--especially the lunch menu--they have some items which you may like (the prix fix meal is a steal) and you may get to see Remy!. Allears.net has a great list of menus for you to review.

I went on a "creme brulee tour" a couple of years ago. I had the maple creme brulee in Le Cellier, the butterscotch creme brulee at Coral Reef (may not be available anymore), and the pistachio creme brulee at Tony's. They were all very good.

It seems as if you can get creme brulee at a majority of sit down restaurants (non buffet) at WDW.

We had Creme Brulee last year at Chefs de France at dinner and it was awesome. My son still talks about it.

It's true; there are quite a lot of restaurants at Disney World that serve crème brûlée. I've had versions I liked at Jiko, Coral Reef, the Kona Café, Le Cellier, Boatwrights, Hollywood Brown Derby and Les Chefs de France. I thought the one at Wolfgang Puck Express was just okay. Chefs is probably the one I'd recommend if she wants a traditional crème brûlée. Lots of the others I mention include unusual flavors and/or chocolate bottoms.

Under the dining tab at the top of the page, you can do a menu search for any specific dish or main ingredient that you are interested in. It will tell you which restaurants have it. Here is the list for creme brulee:

In Epcot's World Showcase, France has a pastry shop. We visit it every time we go. It isn't really a restaurant at all. There are a few tables and chairs outside you can sit at, but you don't have to make a meal of it. We usually stop in, each pick a pastry and then go sit on the edge of or near the fountain in France and eat our pastries, and yes, I always get the creme brulee myself, one of my favs.

Also they serve mini versions of the pistachio flavored at the dessert party at Magic Kingdom, another of my favorites.

Awesome! And HOLY COW, I didn't know there would be so many place at W to get this dish?! Also didn't know about the Dish-specific search link or Complete menu at Allears.net (Thanks for posting those-will save me a LOT of walking around, lol!)

I'd like her to get to eat it "In France" so she can tell her friends that she "had creme brulee in France" over Spring Break, haha!

Just didn't want to do the whole "restaurant" thing. Thanks for letting me know they have it at the Bakery there...and a Wolfgang Pucks (just in case) which I also like because its a CS restaurant and more likely my son and I will find something we can stomach (we're pretty simple eaters).

You guys were a great help! My daughter is going to "eeeeeek!!" when she hears! Next week she gets to do the three things she's been daydreaming about for the past year; go back to Disney world, see Captain EO (she's been hating on me that I got to see it before it closed), and try Creme Brulee.

Remy is the star of the Pixar film Ratatouille. His Animatronic counterpart appears for lunch Monday through Saturday at Les Chefs de France.

I had Creme Brulee last fall at the Food & Wine festival from the France Pavillion and it was heavenly!

Also we had dinner at CRT and it was the Chef's Specialty for the week and we had Pumpkin Creme Brulee that I still dream about!

Oh yeah, "Ratatouille"..duh! My kids love that movie but I've never watch straight through. They'd be mortified if they knew I asked who "Remy" was..

PS. I was right, I told my daughter what I learned here about Disney having a multitude of places where she could get Creme Brulee- and that, apparently, there was a nice little French bakery in World Showcase where she could eat it outside overlooking the lagoon and she started doing her Michael Jackson dance, she was so happy!

She also loved my idea about telling her friends she went to "France" over spring break and had Creme brulle, lol! She wants to take pictures of herself next to the "Eiffel tower"...

I think I have seen (and ordered it ) at just about every sit down restaurant. My favorite is from either Kona ( banana chocolate) or Hollywood Brown Derby ( double vanilla). My absolute favorite dessert.
