creme brulee novice

I'm sad to report that Wolfgang Puck's no longer sells Creme Brulee. My DH and I went to the Cafe tonight to celebrate our anniversary and I was all set to order the Creme Brulee Trio and was informed that WP is no longer selling it, either in the Cafe or in the Express. I have such fond memories of devouring that dessert.

On top of that we walked past the Adventurer's Club, which we also have fond memories of (Kungaloosh!), and mourned its passing.

Even our honeymoon resort is "gone" (Dixie Landings). Ah well! We're making lots of new memories this trip!

I just got back from a week - I definitely recommend the Maple Creme brulee at Le Cellier. Also the France stop at the food and wine is serving a chocolate creme brulee - its was heavenly and can be got for a snack credit.

My favorite is the pistacchio creme brulee served at Tony's. It is so creamy and the pistacchio flavor is very delicate.

I hate to be the one dessenting voice here, but I HATE the stuff!!! I don't like eggs and it has too much of an egg taste for me. YUCK. My DH adores it and orders it anywhere it is sold.
