Did you come in second place then? I keep telling myself, "If only..."

Yup, played it over and over all month. got to the final round about half dozen times. She has given it for "close races" today and last time I played, unfortunatly I did not get close the last day it was played.

I think it entirely depended on where you were positioned. Most of the winners were those who began on the left most carpet and worked their way from there, always choosing the cauldron closest to Phinny.

Interesting and somewhat accurate observation. I found it easiest on the left but no gaurantee. I did see people win from the right but I could not beat the person to the left from that side right of the middle. There is some luck in getting good positioning as well as getting a good run at the chairs as well as skill and experience. As I said, I never, mastered getting in the last chair let alone getting out of my seat in that last run. I would say factors that effect your chances here, are position, who is in your heat, how your computer is feeling that moment and how well are you able to perform.
