Credits per room or per family?

I am taking my children and their families to disney. 4 rooms, 4 families, But the rooms are mixed within the families. For example one family has 4 children and 2 of those will be staying in a room with me. The rep carefully made notes as to who belonged in which family, then helped me assign rooms. So do the credits for each family stay together or do the people in each room get their credits grouped together. Obviously all 17 of us will not stay together so this could be important. Can the children's cards be used to order their meals on the dining plan if they can't charge other stuff? I feel this is going to be a mess. Disney was not suppose to send invoices to my children. This was a gift. The children had invoices within minutes via email. Only it is listed by room not family. HELP. How do we keep this straight.

but everyone that has a KTTW card has access to them. My last trip with my kids in February two teenage sons included. I let them during the day be free my only stipulation was that we meet for our dinner reservation. My 18 and 15 year old son thought this was great. They did very well. We communicated with cell phones. They used their cards for snacks and counter service meals in the parks. So each person in each room will have access to meal plan on the cards. Then when your at the TS restaurants if you all eat as a group. Just tell the server how many adults and children per room they will handle the rest. and it will be printed on each receipt how many meals used and how many you still will have left.
