What is the average score?

there isn't really an average...scores can be in the low 500's to 800's...when I worked as a credit analyst for a bank any thing over 710 was considered good...

We just closed on our house and our loan officer told us that our credit score was 780 and that we were considered to "walk on water" for lending.....This was before we sold our home.....she said once we didnt have our home as debt it would be even better.
