When we were at the parks this week we took an old childrens' ticket we had not used,we asked at guest service if any credit could be given for the ticket(my child is now 15 and we all have AP).We were told nothing could be done with the ticket except to use it.Should we give it away or try to use it for a upgrade sometime in the future?Any ideas?

You can't get a refund but you can use it on any upgrade. They take the value of the ticket and deduct that from any ticket you are upgrading to. I'd save it. Surely sometime in the future you might need to buy a ticket for a friend or relative. You could use that child ticket and upgrade to an adult ticket or an annual pass or even upgrade to purchase express.

Sometimes a CM will give the wrong info. If you actually paid $ for the child's tciket (it was not a free promotion) you should be able to get credit. Ask for a supervisor if you get that answer again.

Phamton is the expert. You can believe what she says.
