Credit from Intimate Wedding for MK Photo Session

Has anyone not used DPS for their intimate wedding photographs and had a credit towards the MK photo session instead??

I really want to do this but we aren't sure how much we would get towards the MK session. I know the session on its own is $750. If we don't use DPS and get a credit does anyone know roughly how much extra we would need to pay??

Your EM will be able to tell you if you can get a credit. Mine was around two hundred and something.

don't get too excited. I have emailed DPS and the only thing they seem to be interested in giving me is a two picture folio of honeymoon pics. 200.00 worth of photography for 2 pictures hardly seems worth it. I think I would rather them just take wedding pictures along with my photographer. I can email you the info they gave me on this if you pm me with your email

btw, I emailed the photo people again to ask them about getting more pics for 50.00. Someone mentioned this in a previous post. I will let you all know what I find out tomorrow.

inloveindisney - Make sure your outside photographer would be ok with having another photographer at the wedding. Some of the outside photgraphers will delcine covering a wedding if there will be a second professional photographer there. And really, that would be in your best interest. Both photographers would be trying to get the same shots, and would end up getting in each others way, resulting in them not being able to do their best job on your wedding.

inloveindisney, I just went through this at first they only offer you 2 5 by 7 honeymoon pics instead of the 12 pics from the wedding, but if you keep asking they will tell you you can get 20 honeymoon pics in an album for $50. Never take the first answer they give you, keep asking until you get what you want.

I sent an email to Stephanie at DPS on Monday in regards to this very same topic.

She responded today and gave me the same info as you all posted above in regards to the honeymoon photo session, and if you pay $50 you get more pictures. I also asked what the cost of the MK Bridal portraits would be for 2005, she sent me a flyer that lists the price at $800. Seems like it's going up since other people said they had it done this year for $725. It's only a difference of $75, so it's not that bad if you consider what you're getting.

Ok, she emailed me back-completely suprised that I knew about the 50.00 thing. She said that yes, they do it, but it is not advertised. It is one hour and 20 picture portfolio.
I think I am going to do this. I think it would be fun and how nice to have honeymoon pics!

Sometimes Disney seems to be so random with the way they distribute information! It's weird how Stephanie was surprised that you asked about paying the extra $50 to get the bigger honeymoon photo package, and when she emailed me, she explained it all, I didn't even have to ask.

That's another reason why I love these boards, with so many people to share their experiences/knowledge, I find out about things I never even knew were possible! Like the MK bridal portraits. Before these boards I had NO idea you could get something like that!
