credit/debit card for down payment purchasing DVC

I called and purchased 200 points at AKV on Tuesday morning. From what I understand they wait 3 days to charge the card. I gave 2 credit cards for my deposit, but they aren't credit cards, they are actually the mastercard debit cards from an ING direct orange checking and my local checking account. I know in the past sometimes the card from my local checking has gotten declined for a large amount of money (in this case it would be $1450), and I had to call them to let them know, and then it went through ok, so I'm thinking about calling them in the am. Who would the charge be coming from, would it say Disney, or a different company name? Has anyone had any experience in using a mastercard debit card from and ING direct checking account? That charge will be $950. I haven't used the card for more than a $200-$300 purchase so far. I just don't want any problems/delays. Thanks.

When my loan payment & MF come out each month from my account, one says DVC and one says DVD (Disney Vacation Development). My guess is something along those lines. Even if you're unsure the exact name, the fact that you've said you've made a large (amount specific) purchase/charge, they should be ok with that info. Most companies understand that some companies use DBA (doing business as) names that are not always the actual company names.

When we knew "the charge" was going to go through, we gave a heads-up to our credit card company because they watch our account very closely due to previous fraud issues. We told them the amount to expect and that it would be coming from "something like Disney Vacation Club, DVC, DVD, or similar." They noted the account and it went through perfectly.

It will most likely come through as DVD or Disney Vacation Development. If you finance any of your purchase, it too is Disney Vacation Development.

I just checked our account from when we did the down payment. The name was DVC ESCROW, and the it gave the address on Celebration Place FL. This was March of '09.
