Can anyone tell me please. i have booked to stay at the BC IN SEPT 05 i have already paid for my holiday through a travel agent. i live in the UK i do not have a credit card i was planning on giving the cm on the front desk travellers cheques so they can put credit on my room card. so i can pay for things in the parks etc. i would like to know if this can be done.or do you have to have a credit card to stay at a disney resort.

You can check-in without a credit card. When we had no balance at check-in one time, the CM didn't ask us for a credit card and tried to give us keys that said "no charging privileges." We gave him our credit card and asked him to change the keys.

No credit card is needed. You can just tell the front desk CM that you have traveller's cheques that you'd like to put down for room-charging and you shouldn't have any problems at all.

Candy - we have also done this. At check in, I gave them all the cash and travellers checks we had with us and they applied this as a "credit balance" on our room charge. At check out we were refunded the money we have left. Just make sure you stop by the front desk every once in a while during your stay to check your balance and make sure you don't go over the amount of money you have given them. At the end of the week, you will be expected to pay them the difference if you have gone over your original credit balance.
