credit cards

Absolutely. Or, you can use your resort ID (aka KTTW card, room key) to charge at CS places, if you have it set up with a credit card.

Yes they do. You can also place charging privileges on your room key and just use that to charge back to your room. That way you only need to carry the one card with you.

What places don't take credit cards? Trying to plan our cash needs... Thanks.

and which is safer to do - use your credit card or your pass with the card linked to it (what's that called)? I guess I could lose either just as easy or not since I'd keep them right on me... Thoughts???

I personally prefer to use the KTTW card with charging priviledges. That's just me. I like doing it because it keeps all of my charges together, on the last day you get a complete list of all of the charges, and you can go to the front desk to verify if you think something is wrong. I must add, though, since you can use the card through midnight on the last day, that will come up as a second (or 2nd and 3rd) charge.

Well you can lose both easily. I have lost my key to the world card once and as soon as I realized it it was cancelled and a new one given to me. The KTW for kids don't have charging privalages, so no worries if they get lost except for park tickets and they would replace those right away. You have a limit on charging privalages, once you hit each $500 the reprt gets your authorization to do another $500. Your credit cards have a higher limit and a lot more of a hassle to call and get cancelled. Then you are w/o that card for the trip home. I like using my KTW card, I also get a detail of what has been spent anytime I want at the resort and with a credit card you have to get on line to do this ( internet access is 9.99 a day at resorts)

When I was @ Epcot in February the Funnel Cake stand in America didnt take credit cards or room charge...what a bummer since I walked all the way around just for the Funnel Cake

each resort has different charging limits...values let you charge up to $500..mods$1000...deluxe resorts let you go to $1500 before it charges your card...

I like this as well becaue then you don't have multiple random WDW charges on your card...just the one when you check out. I usually go to the desk the night before to review the charges and then just let them run it on my credit card for the total balance.
