Credit Cards at Counter Service Restaurants?

Does anyone know if Disney accepts credit cards at the counter service restaurants?

We used our credit card almost exclusively on our trip and they are accepted at all counter service restaurants. You just can't use it at the carts, like to buy a coke or an ice cream bar.

Are you sure? I've bought souveniers from some carts and paid with a cc.
