Credit Card Guarantee Policy Question

For the ADRs that require a credit card guarantee I read the policy which states you must cancel a day in advance or you'll be charged the $10 per person fee.

Here is my question. Does anyone know what Disney's definition is of "a day in advance?"

If I have an ADR at 1pm on Sunday do I need to cancel by 12:59pm on Saturday? Do I have to cancel it by the end of the day on Saturday, which is technically the day before the ADR.

Does anyone know what the cutoff time is? We have a ton of ADRs for our upcoming trip and I just want to make sure I know the policy in case it ends up being too much food and we need to cancel some.

It is "at least 24 hours prior to the time of the reservation". I have been told, when making a reservation less than 24 hours out, that once made it could not be cancelled without penalty.

I cancelled at 11:50 pm the other night online for a breakfast reservation (here at resort now). I called the next morning and was told it was showing as day before so I was good. Of course, I haven't see my credit card statement to verify, but just saying what thy old me.

It is anytime the day before.I was there week before last and cancelled at 9 pm for a 10 am reservation and was not charged.The cm told me it was anytime the day before but was still wondering if I would be charged and I was not charged.it was fine!
