Please help. I just found this forum and I am now quite motivied but am clueless. I have very limited ablility when it comes to crafts and computers  (but you shoudl try my chocolate chip cookies!). I just joined photobucket after reading some of the posts. I was able to add somones autograph pages and even edited them. I can't figure out how to print. Do you have to order the prints from photobucket? I really like the idea of putting together a very inexpensive autograph book for my family's first trip. I really don't want to spend a lot of money. It looks like with the cost of ink for even printing out the pages could be quite expensive. Does anyone have any low cost ideas? I also would like to do some kind of journal/scrapbook all in one. Currently I am working on the $2 travel guide from www.touringguide.com (Unofficial Guide).

Any help or ideas would be most appreciated. Remember they have to be simple and cheap . :rolleyes1

if you have them in photobucket, all you have to do is right click on them & save them to your computer. You then just open them in Word or something like that & print them on your printer. You can also put them all on a disk & take it to staples, kinkos or somewhere like that, but I'm not sure what that would cost.

I did it! I was able to move the page to word!!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I can still use some good ideas so keep them coming!

Nancy for Disney...maybe our paths will cross as we will be there in 2 months, 2 weeks and 2 days:cool1: Hope someone will be able to help you;) :thumbsup2

There are 2 or 3 threads with journal and autograph book covers. I printed out my autograph cards on 4x6 cards and kept them in a photo book (alphabetized) so I had easy access to them if I found a character that was signing. :goodvibes

Maybe they will. We are staying at POR. How about you? Maybe they will cross at character meets with my children's autograph books that I will have made all by myself  !

I have gone through this forum and unless there is a link to photobucket I can't figure out how to print. I did find someone's link and have downloaded some autograph pages.

How do you print them out of 4x6 cards? I assume that there is a simple way to adjust your printer but I have never thought of doing such a thing. I was thinking I would buy card stock and then cut them down to size but I don't have access to a large paper cutter to keep the lines straight. Printing them on a card would be much easier. I am not sure if I like the idea of keeping them in a photo book. It seems to me that it would be large and awkward to have to take each card out of the pocket when you came upon a character. I am really hoping to pack light at the parks. On the other hand it would be nice to be able to transfer them to a scrapbook later. I have never done a scrapbook but am hoping to put something together for this trip. Most of my pictures are in boxes. I do have some that were taken when DS was an infant until about the age of 2 in a pretty basket in bedroom. When I said I was "creatively challanged" I meant it
::yes:: .

I have PhotoImpact and I use that to print them out. Other people have said they print them out in Word. You can adjust your document in word by going to File, Page setup, paper size, US Index Card 4x6. Then go to margins and bring your margins down to .4 (One will go no smaller than .46). Then go to Insert, Picture, from file (wherever you saved it) and hit insert. click on the picture and then use the outside lines to resize it. Then you can print out on 4x6 card stock.:goodvibes
Good luck. :wizard: Penny:hippie:

Sorry, I am very new and don't forget creatively challanged. What is a DIS tag and how do I get/make one? :confused3 Anyone got any pictures they can show me? :)

There are some designers on here that use the lime green Mickey head and they put your dis name on it. They say, I dis do you, or something like that:confused3 Then, you can go to Home Depot and in the paint section, they have Mickey heads with different colors, and the lime green ones, denote "us" for this board..;) I use the small paint chips for my luggage tag as well as for my backpack:rotfl: You can't help but see a lime green tag:banana: I do hope our paths cross..keep asking questions and you will be surprised as to how much you learn:cloud9:

Thanks for your input. I think I will try and make a DIS tag. I have been running across quite a few people on these forums that will be there the same week. We don't have a Home Depot in our town. There is a town about 30 miles away that has one. I almost never go there anymore as gas is way too expensive but maybe I can make it up there. If not maybe I won't be as creatively challanged and make my own out of poster board.

I think I just finished the cover for my daughter's autograph book. It is really simple. I am hoping to run by staples today to see what my options are for printing/paper. Don't know if I will have time. DD's have dance pictures today and I have to work.

I just tried to copy and paste the cover from word. It didn't work. I will have to play with it some more.

I am doing my autograph book in the 4x6 size. Will more than one character have room to sign one page? My current plan is to have one page for each of the ones I know we will see but maybe do a group page for all the princess's because other than Cinderella I don't know who else we will see. I am a little worried that if I have everyone printed we will have to spend a lot of time searching for the character and DD7 will be disappointed.

Thanks to everyone's help so far. Hopefully I will be able to post a picture when I have all of this done.

I am not quite as creatively challanged anymore! While I am still working on the autograph book I am almost done with my tour plan book. I am printing my touring plans on 4 x 6 cards. I am using a $1 photo book to store them. I am also printing menus of the CS restaurants that I think we may be eating at to include in the book. I even printed out a map of our resort but it is way too small to read. :( I also managed to make a cover with clip art. It is simple but that is how I kind of like things. Sorry I am not to the point yet where I can insert a photo and show everyone.
