Creative Writing Group??

Hey I know Disney doesn't offer a writing club anymore or whoever use to host it doesn't offer it. But i was wondering if anyone would be interested in having some type of club. I would be more then happy to find ideas and topics that we could write on and share our creativity with one another, or for those who are non-sharers don't have to share.

I will think of some basics.. if you're interested let me know!

I would love too!! I'm sadly failing my current Creative Writing class, mainly because he has a stick up his bum, I seriously don't think it's right to grade a story or poem. Everyone has their own style!

you're right at my school they grade more on grammar than what you're actually talking about because its crazy to think that every one would have the same ideas especially in a CREATIVE writing class lol. We have to take a survey of the class at the end of the year of you have to do that too you should seriously write how you feel about the class since the survey anonymous lol. Good Luck with that class though!

awesome I'm glad that there are lots of people interested I don't know exactly what we can do soo I'm taking suggestions..
1. Depending on how many people are interested we need a place to go.. I know that they have a common area so we could maybe do something there or maybe in someone's apartment on certain days host it at different peoples apartments.

also I don't think there will be any grading maybe having a contest or two will be fun.

I have a book that gives ideas for every day writing.. and if anyone has a book like that to bring it. i'll also find ideas and even go to my comm teacher and ask her for some ideas.

doing things like mad libs ( dunno if thats childish for some of you..but they can be fun )** giggles**

one thing I once did in one of my creative writing class was take a common saying and write a poem about it to make it funny....Umm a quick example

Example: What goes up, must come down.

I was sitting out side one day
looking into the sky.
I saw a bird, and a plane,
and some very strange flies.

one by one the birds fell on the ground
making a crazy splatting sound

the planes they landed
and the people got off

but those strange flies
all across the sky

Untill the something strange in the air came down.
It like the birds made a splatting sound
the pink colored plastic was all so quick
when it splatted those flies and down they went.
