If shoes are in good condition i donate them. But this clean-out i found two very old, ugly, worn down pairs. At first i wanted to throw them directly into the garbage bag, but than.....

I am a little bit proud of my new planter

The second pair, were these terrible cheap looking leather boots:

I know, this is a bit disgusting, but i used them as doggy poop bags, before they went into the garbage bag. So good that they were pull-on boots

My hubby said "very well-done" to me. He laughed loud about my two "recycling" ideas

I love the planter idea. If I may ask what kind of paint you used? I also have cheap leather knock off boots that deserve some dog poo as well! I just love making new things out of old ones. I search thrift stores and such for interesting pieces to make things out of. Well Done!

For the planter I used a waterproof automobile spray!
Hehehe...."deserve some dog poo" are the right words for my second pair
