As my nickname says, we are double-income, no kids, Disney Addicts. We are going to see the Mouse again in September, and we are taking our three year old nephew with us. (We are letting his parents come, too ;) ) This will be his first trip to the World, so we are excited to see the magic through his eyes. :wizard: We *love* to spoil him. He is cute as a button and so well-behaved. That being said, I have tons of fun things I have found on this board that I would like to do to surprise him. I just need your help with some creative details. Here's what I would like to do....

1. Before we go, sending letters from the characters telling him that they can't wait for him to come. I also want to include something like...."and remember, we may look small on TV, but we are really much taller than you think. So don't be frightened when you see us!" I am concerned that he'll shy away from the "big stuffed animals" (characters).

2. Countdown calendar with HD Mickey Heads to pull off every day.

3. During the trip, a gift every morning, a gift when we get back to the room in the afternoon for a nap, and a gift before we go to bed. All of these gifts would also come with a note from a character. I want to coordinate these gifts with what we are doing for the day. For example, the day that we go to Animal Kingdom, the note at night would be from Simba, saying how much he enjoyed seeing him today with a Simba stuffed animal. Here's what I have collected so far....

7 short and shirt sets with Disney characters on them
Nemo swim trunks and towel
Mickey sunglasses and flipflops
Pooh nightlight
Stuffed Animals: Tigger, Pooh (dressed like Buzz Lightyear), 32" Mickey, 16" Mickey that you use to teach snap, velcro, etc., 10" pooh, large Simba, Brother Bear, 16" Minnie, 24" Tigger that talks when you hug him, Nemo and a couple more that I don't remember. I picked these up at Goodwill and garage sales. I didn't pay more than $2 for any of them! Most of them were 50 cents to $1!
Disney themed jump rope, paddle ball, silly putty
Light spinner
Basically all the little Dollar Tree Disney stuff
Disney books and coloring books
Disney 3D stickers and paper to create the cards for the notes

So there are most of the things that I have. I just need help putting them all together. Does anyone still have a copy of the notes that they sent to the kids/grandkids? Does anyone have any cute ideas to put all of this together or how to phrase the letters from different characters? For example, Mickey says things like "Golly" "Pal" and "Oh boy" a lot. Also, do you know where I can get the Disney fonts? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

And, yes, I do know we are spoiling him rotten! :rolleyes1

Will you adopt me? :rotfl2: What an amazing auntie you are! he is one very lucky little boy.

Holy Heck, I wish I was your nephew, it sounds like it is going to be awesome!

I'm subscribing to this thread as I need some ideas for notes from the characters too!
