I was looking through some old photos and they reminded of something crazy I saw while waiting for my table a Crystal Palace. While waiting near the steps to the entrance I was admiring the castle with my daughter. We noticed something rustling around in the bushes along the railing. It drew our attention and a few seconds later a cat came out with a bunny rabbit clinched between its jaws. He strutted out in the opening on the grass as if he was showing off his kill. Needless to say I had to calm my daughter down for a while before going to eat. She did learn a lesson about nature I guess.

If you have any similar stories or just something you thought you would never see at Disney please share. I hope you all are having a good day.
PS. I did not get a picture of the cat and the bunny, I was busy hugging my crying daughter.

There was a snake in the planters you weave around in the line for Splash the last time we went. I guess that's pretty common though.

We saw a huge black snake on Kilimanjaro Safari sunning itself on one of the large boulders that separate the sections right next to road and the cattle cables. I swear you could almost reach out and touch it as we slowly rode by. The safari guide didn’t mention it at all, but I suspect they were all chatting about it between rides.

But that made me realize one job I definitely do NOT want at WDW - critter control. No thank you.

..........:faint:

I saw a family in line at Soaring have their young son pee into a bottle so that they didn't have to leave the line! Then she put it in her bag and proceeded to the ride.
.....do I dare ask how old he was???? :crazy2: :scared:

On our last trip in November, a family in line for MMRR pulled out a full on kid potty and plunked their kid on it! My daughter and I could not believe it!

Of course the kid screamed and wouldn’t use it, making quite a scene. The parents gave up and I think someone took her to the bathroom.

I did kind of feel bad for the family. I guessed one of them read it as a tip and thought it was a great idea not to have to get out of line. Reality was a different matter!
