Ok so here is my problem. My son and his cousin got a magic elf, Benard and Noel, for Christmas. I told my son the elf would come back on his birthday (not knowing we, my son and his cousin, would be in Disney). So I was wondering if anyone could make an elf footprint? Or have any other ideas that I could do to make the elf "magical" while at WDW. It should be easy but my mind is blank for some reason.
Just a side note here, my nephew is 10 and my son is going to be 11. They have not believed in santa for about 4 years but they believes in this elf even though the elf came from the North Pole.
Thanks in advance
Marie

I will try to work on something for you. Since it is an elf...I would suggest using a template where you can cut out the shape of the shoe then sprinkle baking soda to make it look like snow prints on the carpet.

It is what I did for the Grinch who came to visit us at a hotel...there are pictures in this thread so you can see what I mean:

Thank you. Thats a cute idea. I love your grinch theme. Everything came out beautiful. Great job.

Here you go! To make this work...print on cardstock. You will have to resize the image to make it the size that would make sense for your elves. Then using an exacto knife, trim out the black part of the image. You will only need one template...as it will work for both the left and right foot. Then lay the template on the carpet and sprinkle with baking soda. Move the template and either try to recycle or throw away the excess powder on your template to make the next footprint, etc. You will need to pack a small box of baking soda and surprisingly...if you are like me...you will use the entire box. Make sure you look at the pictures from my Grinch Grand Welcome as it will help you to see how to use this.

Please do not quote the image as it takes up bandwidth in my photobucket and make sure that you save it (if you want to use it) so that I can delete it and use the space for other requests.

DELETED TO MAKE ROOM IN MY PHOTOBUCKET...IF YOU DIDN'T SAVE IT SEND ME A PM.

I actually gave Magic Elves to everyone in my family this year (neices, nephews, grandparents, etc.) and made boxes with things for all 30 days for them to do with the elves. Here is a list I compiled...I know a lot of this isn't applicable to your trip but maybe you can find something in here to do with your elves at Disney. It was easy to just cut and paste the whole document rather than trying to pick and choose:

• Potatoes - build a mountain for the elf to climb
• Marshmallows – so the elf can make snowmen
• Use confection sugar or flour-so the elf can make a snow angel on the kitchen counter one night
• Mini marshmallows, toothpick, tea lights -so the elf can roast them over a tea light
• Use Cotton balls- so the elf can have a snowball fight with some toy friends like Barbie or stuffed animals
• Candy Canes- so the elf can hang them around the house or maybe from Daddy's ear when he is sleeping (make sure you do this on a day when the kids wake Daddy)
• Wrapped Christmas candy-so the elf can be found head first in the candy dish
• Board Games – so the elf and friends can play and throw the pieces all over the den
• Shoe Polish - so the elf can paint car windows with "Elves rock! Merry Christmas!"
