We took a ride to Plum Island in Mass. to let the dog run around yesterday. She had a ball but it was a little warm for her to run too much- her tongue was hanging. 65+ degrees when the sun came out.

So cute!!!! My dogs love running in the water too!!

now that is one happy dog! Too cute.

Aww, I have a yellow Lab and he's one of my most favorite and willing subjects!:)

Hershey isn't a very willing subject- she always seems to be heading AWAY from me! I occasionally catch a good shot of her. Her color seems hard to photograph for some reason- especially indoors.

Our black lab puppy (4 months now) Jake went to the beach for the first time last weekend. He was a bit aprehensive at first but a yellow lab showed him the ropes and we could barely get him to leave!

4 months! How cute at that age. I feel for you tho. My dog was a terror until she was 3- she'll be 4 in April. She is still full of it but not as destructive. She hikes a lot in the mts so she is quite fit- so she needs that much more exercise to get tired out. Labs are awesome dogs. Wouldn't trade her for anything. She's my pal.

Ya, he's just so much fun. He has his moments but *knock on wood*, he's only got to a pair of sandals and a tree so far. He's growing so fast.

What a beautiful dog! I am a Labrador fanatic. Grace and Augusta send their best to your sweet girl! Here is an action shot of my two enjoying a run in the leaves this fall.

We're all about agility!

Grace and Augusta a beautiful! I love yellow labs. Agility is not Hershey's thing, neither is fetching or retrieving for that matter. If you throw something for her to 'go get' she'll just watch it. She is the only retriever I know that refuses to retrieve. She LOVES to swim and hike! She is working on hiking all 48 of the 4000 footers in NH. She has only a few more to do. Winter is hurting her figure- she is up to 90lbs- usually she stays around 80. Its hard to hike mountains with a dog this time of year. The snow is too deep unless the trail has been packed and above treeline can be very icy. People can't walk it without those things with spikes to grip the ice. DH takes her mostly and he's afraid she wouldn't be able to do and/or get hurt. Let me tell you- when he gets out his pack and doesn't take her? I hear about it. She cries and pouts!

Quicklabs, Your Labs are beautiful! I especially like the agility shot!:)

My Yellow Lab, Hunter, is a hunting dog...Always hunting for food!:rotfl:
