Yes, they do need to think about others. AND people need to think about the fact that those strollers can't just stop on a dime before stepping directly in the path of one.

My DH use to love to clip people who jumped in front of us or stopped suddenly for no reason. That's why I let him push most of the time because I'm overly considerate and constantly allowing people to be inconsiderate to me.
