Crazy for italian food

Hi everyone !

I was thinking since I will loose some pounds in the parks with my two children (they have so much energy !), I must be able to have some extra calories. So, let's get straight to the point:

1- WICH IS THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN THE WDW AREA IN YOUR OPINION ?

My vote is for Portobello's. Although I have heard lots of good things about Palios but haven't tried it yet.

Palios or PYC.
Palios gets a slight edge imho for being a little more romantic.
PYC has a great wine list.
Enjoy the calories

I believe the name of the restaurant is Alfredo's (or something like that) at the Italy pavillion at Epcot. Ate there once, heard good things about it, and enjoyed the food a lot. Had regular spagehtti to cut out calories, but was great. Also had bread with oil...so good! If your heading to Epoct, i would head there for Italian.

My vote is definitely Palio - great(!!) food, nice romantic atmosphere (although not so stuffy that kids would be miserable), and good service. Just thinking about the AMAZING lobster tortellini I had there on my last trip is making me drool! (Not literally no need to worry on my keyboard's behalf.)

Portobello Yacht Club is in Downtown Disney next to Fultons.

Definately Palio's at the Swan.

Unfortunately, restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin aren't included in Vacation Packages that includes meals (unless that's changed.)

In my own humble opinion:
Palio

Portobello Yacht Club

Cafe D'Antonio (in Celebration-excellent combination of upscale/regular Italian)

Mama Melrose

and last (and least)-- Alfredo's. Food was fine, but tables so close together that I swear I could have just reached over and helped myself to what the next table was having. We couldn't get up from our table to leave w/o asking the folks next to us to get up and let us out!!
