crazy coffee question

Do they have flavored coffee at the resorts? It's been so long since I tasted regular coffee that I hardly remember what it tastes like!

I don't think so....The coffee they do have is Nescafe'. Definitely not at all to my liking, so we bring the farberware pot for fresh perked.

The coffee at Disney stinks. IMO it is becoming a glaring omission that Disney has no "coffee bar" type of facitilies. Whether you enjoy Caribou, Starbucks, Green Mountain, etc. you will not find anything at WDW that comes close. I really noticed it on our last Christmas trip, Starbucks longing for me!

There is a coffee bar in the Contemporary lobby that offers flavors for the coffees and has GOOD coffee, not the Nescafe swill. The Swan/Dolphin serves Starbucks, but I don't know about the flavors.

There is also a coffee bar at the Poly, but in general the coffee at WDW stinks.

The rooms have a coffee maker. You could always run to your local grocery store and purchase the one pot coffee packets. I will be doing this because I, too, prefer flavored coffee.

I disagree, somewhat. The coffee in the rooms leaves something to be desired, but you can use the coffee maker to make good coffee - just bring some from home, and some filters. The Pepper Market had gourmet coffee options. The Swan had a gourmet coffee area, the Dolphin has Starbucks, in the MK on the hub you can get pretty good coffee, in the WS you can get great coffee, and there are others...there ARE places to get blah coffee, but if you look - there are places that have better coffee.

My DH is a HUGE Starbucks fan! he has at least one Venti, decaf, non-fat mocha, no-whip, extra hot every day! So, as you can imagine, the coffee at WDW leaves alot to be desired in his book. That being said, he will get decent coffee at Kona at the Poly, and he gets mocha's at the CR, Epcot and the MK. In Epcot you can get them (latte's) at the bakery in future world or at the kiosk as you enter the workd showcase heading toward Mexico. At the MK, he gets them at the entrance to Liberty Square across from the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe! Hope that helps!
