crayons, hot car seat, not a good mix HELP!

My darling, genius DS did not follow my directions when I kindly asked him to take his crayons out of the car and into the house. I now have melted crayons on my car seat upholstery. Any idea how to clean this off?? Any input would be greatly appreciated by my DS who will be cleaning this when I get home from work.

I guess I would try and put a bunch of ice on the crayons to make them firm up. You might be able to get it off in chunks rather than bits once it hardens.

I am not certain but you might be able to clean it like you can with candle wax. Take a brown paper bag and run a warm iron over it and it should adhere to the brown paper bag. thanks for the suggestions. A Co worker also suggested the brown paper bag but I don't know I would have never thought to look on the crayola website.
