Craving Ohana Wings

Do you think Tambu Lounge serves the same ones? Or do they serve the ones from Kona? There is no availabilty to Ohana during our trip (last minute trip) so I was thinking maybe I could get them at Tambu with a delicious pina colada. DD26 and I decided that they should offer these wings to go. They are so good.

We just had the Tambu wings last Oct.. They were delicious. I think they're the same as Kona. I haven't been to Ohana since 2001, so I can't remember what their wings taste like.

They had a really delicious Tuna Flatbread too. That was even better than the wings. Yum!

I agree....these wings are great. The first (and only time) we went to 'Ohana, I kept asking for more. I ate more of those than the all you can eat 'meat-on-a-stick'.

I also had the wings at Kona a couple times now....and I think they are the same and quite good...but nothing compares to those wings I had at 'Ohana that time.

Too funny - I've got a 3 year old who LOVES Ohana wings. So much so I've got to make them at home at least once a month. He begs for them on a regular basis - and they are super easy to make. So, if all else fails for ressie's, given them a try at home

I use version 2, as it's what I was given years ago too from a Chef at WDW. I'm guessing it's pretty close to accurate. I also make a point of topping the dish with Sesame Seeds once all is said and done - and not very many of the recipes online call for it.
