Crates changed size.. so NOT cool

I was wondering if that was just my eyes or not..guess not! now on hit the floor out the door it looks weird bc the chairs and huge on the little bitty chairs!

I think that if the change was intentional, it was a horrible move to make so close to the ride competition.

Either way they need to make a decision and announce wether the change is permanent or temporary...

Are you all still having crate problems? All of my crates in my room and the other ride rooms connected to my base camp are EXACTLY the way they were. Was this a totally random thing? Doesn't seem like it affected all the crates in VMK, just certain ones....

I think the problems people are having with the "new" crates is, because of the size difference now, some crates that were hidden before are now visible because they are taller. Or in my instance, while stacking crates with other things, I had made places in my room level on the surface, and now they are not.

The crates are still taller than they were.

Also check out the pianos in ned's and the underwater organs in Star Traders. They look like they are kits that need to be put together.

On a bright note: The edges of the crates no longer show through what is placed on top of them. This is good for some things (river pieces and hippo pools for example), but now once barely visible carpets are fully visible.

My new favorite saying might become: Vmk giveth and VMK taketh away.

Well, We will press on starting over on much work with only the rumor that it (the crates) is a bug and will be fixed (As in returned to original) . We will spend countless hours and credits repairing what VMK employees currently have a good laugh about. And, be sure this will probably be corrected, exactly when we have completed repairs...or better the night before judging would be my guess.

don't forget #3: if u do an event competition again.. be prepared to wait until the last minute to build your rooms are they may be totally ruined by the time judging comes about.

My heart goes out to all of you that have to rebuild your rooms. I think they changed the size of the crates intentionally for the Ride-a-Thon. I noticed a great many of them (perfectly placed on their new size of course) while riding through several of the rooms. They should have just used something else or made a new kind of furniture, but then, that would make sense. I still wish our newsletter-guaranteed ice-cubes would come back... *sigh* The straight track is back in the store, there's no reason why ice shouldn't be attainable.

And as a side note, I must say, Cinderella's Castle looks much nicer with the gold 50th decorations than as the giant pink cake.

for rhose who don't understand:

2 stacked crates = 1 leota table in height. When stacked crates are leveled along with tables, you can place most items on both the crate and the tables, most of the time, using only a portion of the table for placement.

NOW, 4 stacked crates = 3 leota tables in height. Though this equation makes the top surfaces equal to each other, items will NOT place on both portions.


i don't know how they expect us to build anything under this new insanity, all i know is, they really don't care. Like everyone else, I'm forced to put up with it till the new virtual pirates game comes out, thus, abadoning vmk forever. At this rate, they shouldn't even bother with tomorrowland as I predict things will be even worse once the expiration date on all our cards has arrived. And i will lose no sleep when that day comes.
