Crash Course in Renting

Hopefully I'm putting this in the right place. The sticky said DVC Operations was the place to discuss the pros & cons of renting, so I hope this falls under that.)

Due to some changes in both the timing & party size of our upcoming trip, I was advised to possibly consider renting points. I have NO idea where to start. Does anyone have any advice/links/etc. to get me pointed in the right direction?

The best place to start is through the Disney Rent/Transer thread. You will find information as well as members offering thier points for rent.

I suggest you go to the DVC Rent/Trade forum: http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=29 and read the "sticky" threads at the top of that board. Start with the "Using the DVC Rent/Trade board. READ ME FIRST!" thread which explains how renting works. Within that thread are links to other threads with more information.

If you decide to post on the DVC Rent/Trade forum be sure to read the two "Required Reading" threads first since special posting rules apply to that forum.
