Crash course in Disney Characters for my 2 year old!

These are avail at our library, and you can get lots of different characters in one sitting- and they are only half hour programs, so they should be good for any attention span. Also familiarizes them with the songs, which are played on rides, parades, buses, etc. I think that exposing them beforehand made my kids extra excited because they already knew the characters!

We also loaded our phones/ipods with mmclubhouse videos, and classic Disney cartoons (YOUtube had tons) which were lifesavers for those times when the kids were tired and waiting for bus/dining res./plane ride...we didn't need them much, but they were invaluable on several occasions!

But, to be honest, I would not worry about introducing him to characters before your trip. On our first trip, DD knew the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse characters and that was about it. We just told her who the characters were as we went along and she honestly didn't care if she didn't know them beforehand, she thought they were all cool. She got more into the movies and songs after seeing the characters, actually.

Kids really don't need help being introduced to Disney characters. They'll find them.

Exactly. That was what I meant. Besides, who wants to plop a 2 year old down and put movies on over and over again?
