First I get into town later than I wanted, ok can deal. On my way to town this car in front of the car in front of me slammed on his brakes and there was almost a 5 car pile up with me in the middle!:scared1: ok Scary but it didn't happen. :thumbsup2 Than I get to walmart (which I was jsut passing) and my car started to make a funny noise so I pull into walmart to check it out. As I was checking out the car some guys took off this old ladies purse and the police got there and it was a huge deal. :scared1: So my dad comes to help me out with my car and swears there is nothing wrong with it. I had to use the bathroom and didn;t think I was going to make b/c my mom kept talking. On my way to the bathroom my flip flop breaks!!! SO I am shoeless on one foot with no money b/c I was going to get my check. I decide to take the car to get my check and I don;t hear that noise at all. :confused3 anyway I get to where I work and the doors don't work so I am trying to get someone's attention to get in, finally I get in and get my check. I go back to walmart to cash it and get a pair of flip flops. I am walking out of walmart and a stupid rock goes through my flip flop and into my foot!!!! Blood everywhere! :headache:

So then I have to get a tire b/c my tire is in real bad shape and the place is closed! So by this point I just go home! :sad2:

Have a glass of wine and laugh it off! Some days are just crazy, but look at the bright side, it's Friday!!:cool1:

,, that's enough for a year!

And then you come to the DIS to share, where I'm sure someone will tell you you brought it all upon yourself. :rotfl2:

Oh my! You have had a day! Grab a nice glass of wine, prop your foot up, take a deep breath and relax for a few minutes.

Hugs! I hope your tomorrow is much better!

Thank you, I think I'm going to get a couple of drinks tonight, I need it. :goodvibes

Can I join you?? I have had some doozies lately too. :rotfl2: Maybe not as bad as yours, but close. Sometimes it's just better to laugh about it and move on.

Does sound like a crappy day.

However, sitting there with your nice glass of wine, take a deep breath, put your feet up and ponder what a really good day you actually had....

  • Everybody was able to brake quickly enough to avoid an accident
  • Your car turned out to not to have anything wrong with it
  • Somebody saw you and was there to let you in to get your check so you didn't have to wait till Monday and go the whole weekend without it.
  • Your mom can still annoy you
  • If you got away with only a pair of broken flip flops and a rock in the foot (ok, that sucks) - sounds like a pretty good day :goodvibes

Enjoy your good fortune today :grouphug:

Hahaa oh my goodness you poor thing!! Sounds like most days for me :lmao:

I would paint my nails, pluck my eyebrows, shave my legs, all the things that make me feel WONDERFUL!

I like Mickey's Minion's way of turning a crappy day positive! Yes, it's Friday, relax, and have that glass of wine and enjoy! Tomorrow's a new day!

But you really do get out of the world what you put into it! You put a bunch of not so nice stuff out there, not so nice stuff is going to come back at you!

Do you really believe all the bad things that happened to OP today were some sort of karma for things she's posted on the DIS? :confused3

I truly think that when you put good things out into the world you get good things back. I think when you put bad things out bad things come back. I don't think it is Karma, but I think that you can't expect to have happiness or good things in your daily life, if you are doing nothing but adding/creating bad. That goes for anyone, not just the OP.

I don't believe that. If it was true, then that would mean children with debilitating illnesses somehow added or created bad or at the least didn't add good to the world.

:confused3 I guess I don't get what you mean.

I am saying people who don't have anything nice to say, shouldn't be surprised when people don't have anything nice to say to them. You get what you give. I don't think that sickness, or pain is caused by doing things that are not kind.

ETA : I see where I didn't explain myself very well at all there. If you pour tar on the world, you can't expect it to rain gumdrops back at you
